The Defense Civilian Training Corps (DCTC) designed to act as a civilian counterpart to ROTC, developing skilled civilian professionals for the Department of Defense (DoD) in critical fields like acquisition, technology, science, and finance. Mandated by Congress, the DCTC initiative focuses on specialized curricula, experiential learning, and internships, supported by a "Culture of Care" to ensure scholar success. The program is currently in its pilot phase with cohorts from the graduating classes of 2025-2027.

The Chieftain Elite DCTC Track Record

Chieftain Elite is a key partner of the New Mexico State University Physical Science Laboratory, supporting the creation and implementation of the DCTCx (Experimental) program via the National Security Academic Regional Recruitment Prototype (NSARRP) Project, a key initiative undertaken by the Assistant Undersecretary of Defense (AUSD) for Science & Technology (S&T) and the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) as part of DoD’s Artificial Intelligence Literacy Strategy.
